The Infant Jesus, commonly known as the Child Of Prague. The devotion to the Holy Child Jesus has long been a tradition of the Catholic Church for a very long time. This devotion is a veneration of our Lord's sacred Infancy. The history of the Infant Jesus of Prague started in the 17th century when a statue of the Infant Jesus was brought into Bohemia, now the Czech Republic. The statue is located in the Carmelite Church of Our Lady Victorious in Malá Strana, Prague. This statue is from our carved wooden range, made in Italy by a traditional Alpine wood carving company.
